Viimeiset 1500 kilometriä oli yhtä juhlaa. Brisbanesta hankittu uusi voimansiirto, kirkkaat aurinkoiset syyspäivät ja matkan varrelta tarttunut kova pyöräilykunto siivittivät menoa. Saapumisessa Sydneyyn oli jotain onnensekaista haikeutta. Kun on viimein päässyt sinne missä kaikki loppuu, niin ei voi olla täysin tyytyväinen tekemisiinsä. Tosi tyytyväinen kuitenkin.
It's all over now.. I made it back to Sydney today. Nice 115km's in sunshine and over the Harbour Bridge. 9116km's of bikeriding makes me bit tired. I check in to my old hostel and got my stuff that had been stored there for seven months. All mouldy and dirty. And the smell.... :) Now they're all washed and tomorrow morning I'll have some decent clothes to wear.. After bumming around in tights for a long time.
Feels good to be here. I met some friends and everything looks familiar. It's been all new everyday for last months, but it is time to settle down.. For a short while. Flying home next Monday. Can't wait, eventhough it's been great here, too.
It's shopping time now before the bedtime. Sydney's night is warm and pleasant. And they've all forgotten that they are upside down. Even me.
